The Central Lincolnshire authorities are preparing a new Local Plan to replace the Local Plan adopted in 2017.

The Central Lincolnshire authorities are preparing a new Local Plan to replace the Local Plan adopted in 2017. This consultation follows on from an Issues and Options Consultation which was held in June and July 2019 and the Draft Local Plan Consultation held during June, July and August 2021.

This Proposed Submission Local Plan builds on the strengths of the existing plan and looks to address the changing challenges particularly arising at a national and global level. It has also been influenced by comments made during the previous rounds of consultation.

This consultation is different to earlier consultation stages, as it asks specific questions; please read the guidance note which explains how to make comments and how comments will be dealt with. Full details of the consultation are set out in the Statement of Representations Procedure.

This is your chance to comment on the plan before it is submitted to the planning inspectorate for examination. The Draft Local Plan is available to view online at: https://central-lincs.inconsult.uk/CLLP.../consultationHome or https://www.n-kesteven.gov.uk/central-lincolnshire/.

Should you wish to view paper copies of the Local Plan and Policies Maps, these can be viewed at City of Lincoln, North Kesteven, West Lindsey and Lincolnshire County Council office receptions and at Lincoln Central, Market Rasen, Gainsborough and Sleaford Libraries. Please contact the offices to check viewing arrangement as appointments may be necessary.

The consultation runs for 8 weeks from 16 March to 9 May 2021 and you can submit your comments by:

Using the consultation hub;

By submitting completed response forms by email to talkplanning@central-lincs.org.uk; or

By submitting completed response forms by post to Central Lincolnshire Local Plan Team, Districts Council Offices, Kesteven Street, Sleaford, NG34 7EF

Please ensure you submit your comments before the close of the consultation as late submissions will not be accepted.
