CTC Planning Committee Minutes February 2020
CAISTOR TOWN COUNCIL
Minutes of a meeting of the Planning Committee held on Thursday 09th January 2020 in the Alan Caine Council Chamber, Town Hall, Caistor at 6.45pm.
Present: Cllrs Gaughan (in the chair), J Bowman, S Davey, A Somerscales, J Bowman, A Clark, C Rudd, C Mackenzie, M Galligan, S Wright, & J Wright.
In attendance: J Hanrahan (Town Clerk) and four members of the press and public.
1 Apologies for absence: Cllrs Duprat, Hughes & Sizer
2 Declarations of interest: None
3 Minutes of the meeting held on 19th December 2019: It was proposed and seconded by Cllrs C Mackenzie and J Wright respectively that the minutes were a true record which was so resolved with one abstention.
4 Planning decisions made by WLDC:
a. It was noted that 140359 for the Coach House on South Street had successfully discharged its condition.
5 Planning Applications received from 19th December 2019 to the date of this meeting:
a. 140342: 31, Nettleton Road, Caistor, Lincolnshire, LN7 6NJ. Planning application for change of use from a residential home (C3) toa day care nursery (D1), including removal of some outbuildings, internal and external alterations. Members were unanimously supportive of the principle of this application but would like to see more car parking provision.
b. 140352: Claddagh, Horsemarket, Caistor, Lincolnshire, LN7 6UP. Planning application for removal of single-storey bungalow and erect 1no. replacement two storey dwelling. Members wondered why the old building had to be demolished, and not built upon, but had no objections in principle. One Member abstained from the vote.
c. 140420: Raynesway, Canada Lane, Caistor, Lincolnshire, LN7 6RN. Request for confirmation of compliance with condition 3 of planning application 139768 granted 02 October 2019. Members had no objection to this action.
